Dr Mahendra Kare is a leading cardiologist and physician from Goa. He completed MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Goa Medical College. Recipient of Gold Medal for MD examination, he is also a proud recipient of prestigious “Goa Scholar” award which he received from Government of Goa for his fellowship in Singapore. He worked as a lecturer in Goa Medical College before joining the reputed National Heart Centre in Singapore for his Fellowship in Clinical Cardiology for 3 years. Post fellowship, he joined the corporate hospitals including Nusi Wockhardt Hospital, and Apollo Victor Hospital as a consultant.

He was trained in the most advanced cardiac centre in Asia on all aspect of cardiology besides receiving training from American Diabetic Association in the Management of Diabetes. He was closely involved in the stem cell research.

Dr. Kare runs his own CARDIODIABETIC centre in Margao incorporating the best of the technology in the care of the diabetic and cardiac patients.
